Deborah James is a human resource (HR) expert who specialises in the field of transformational change, TUPE and employee engagement.
Deborah James has worked in the field of HR for twelve years, six of which have been within an outsourced environment. She is a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and a qualified organisational coach and mentor. She specialises in leadership, performance and career coaching.
Deborah has completed a number of public to private sector TUPE transfers and integrated employees into existing businesses. It was during her time in outsourcing that Deborah discovered her specialism of change management.
During 2015 Deborah founded James HR Consultancy Ltd after an unexpected diagnosis of bowel cancer which turned her life upside-down. Deborah was determined to make a positive difference to support businesses, cancer patients and those impacted or affected by cancer within the workplace. After careful planning she created a Cancer Employment Advice Service.
Her vision of James HR Consultancy is to build a credible reputation with clients as the “go to” HR consultancy when faced with change. She’s passionate about developing people. Her advice and implementation solutions are practical, pragmatic and aligned to the commercial needs of the business.
